Campbell Hall Man Charged With Stealing Money From Monroe Gas Station

MONROE, N.Y. – A man from Campbell Hall is facing attempted robbery and petty larceny charges after he took money from a gas station cash register in Monroe on Tuesday morning, according to the Times Herald-Record.

Andrew Margillo, 30, walked into the gas station around 4 a.m. and approached the register while the attendant was in the back. He took the money and fled the scene on a bicycle, the Record reported. 

Monroe officials found Margillo on the Heritage Trail with the money. He was taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail, the Record said.
